Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Ispitati povezanost pandemije bolesti COVID-19 i razine stresa, anksioznosti i depresije medicinskih sestara i tehničara. Nacrt studije: Ispitivanje je provedeno po principu presječne studije. Ispitanici i metode: Ispitanici su bili medicinske sestra i tehničari, ukupno njih 112. Istraživanje je provedeno u razdoblju od 7.6.2021. do 14.6.2021. godine. Kao instrument istraživanja korišten je anketni upitnik koji se sastojao od 5 dijelova: sociodemografski podatci, kontakt i izolacija, upitnik percepcije stresa, skala za procjenu generaliziranog anksioznog poremećaja, upitnik o zdravlju pacijenta. Anketni je upitnik sadržavao ukupno 38 pitanja te na kraju upitnika dodano je jedno kontrolno pitanje. Anketni je upitnik proveden anonimno te postavljen za ispunjavanje uz pomoć javno dostupnog programa Google Sheets. Rezultati: Statistički su značajne razlike vidljive u usporedbi sa sociodemografskim podatcima, odnosno prema spolu, bračnom statusu te stručnoj spremi. Također, statistički je značajna razlika vidljiva u usporedbi s varijablama koje se odnose na oboljenje od bolesti COVID-19. Zaključak: Značajno veću razinu depresije, anksioznosti i stresa osjećaju ispitanici ženskog spola, samci, ispitanici visoke stručne spreme te ispitanici kojima je dijagnosticirana bolest COVID-19. Razina stresa, anksioznosti i depresije nije povezana s varijablama koje se odnose na posao.
Abstract (english)
Research aim: Examining the connection between the pandemic of the disease COVID-19 and the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression among nurses. Study design: The research was conducted as a cross-sectional study. Participants and methods: The participants were nurses, 112 in total. The research was conducted in the period from 07 June 2021 to 14 June 2021. A survey questionnaire consisting of 5 parts was used as a research instrument: sociodemographic data, contact and isolation, The Perceived Stress Scale-10, General Anxiety Disorder-7 scale, and The Patient Health Questionnaire-10. The survey questionnaire contained 38 questions in total and a control question was added at the end of the questionnaire. The survey questionnaire was filled in anonymously and made available via the software Google Sheets, which is publicly available. Results: There are clear statistically significant differences when comparing the sociodemographic data, i.e., according to sex, marital status, and level of education. There is also a clear statistically significant difference when comparing the variables related to contracting the disease COVID-19. Conclusion: Participants who are female, single, with high level of education, and those who have been diagnosed with the disease COVID-19 experience a significantly higher level of depression, anxiety, and stress. The levels of stress, anxiety, and depression are not connected to the variables related to the participants’ job.
