Abstract
Uvod: Plućna embolija potencijalno je životno ugrožavajuće stanje koje nastaje uslijed opstrukcije manjih ili većih grana plućne arterije trombom koji putem venske krvi dospijeva u plućnu cirkulaciju. Cilj je rada opisati plućnu emboliju i skrb medicinske sestre kao člana multidisciplinarnog tima pri izvođenju dijagnostičkih i terapijskih postupaka kod oboljelih od plućne embolije. Postupci: Za pretraživanje literature korištene su baze podataka: Hrčak, Medline, PubMed, Scopus, Embasa. Najvažniji kriterij odabira literature podrazumijevao je relevantnost izvora i povezanost s temom. Prikaz teme: Plućna embolija ima širok spektar nespecifičnih prezentacijskih značajki koje ovise o veličini embolusa i opstruirane cirkulacije te o prethodnom zdravstvenom stanju bolesnika. Dijagnostika plućne embolije temelji se na nizu dijagnostičkih pretraga koje se međusobno nadopunjuju, a njihova kombinacija ovisi o ishodu procjene kliničke vjerojatnosti plućne embolije. Zaključak: Medicinska sestra provodi zdravstveni odgoj oboljelog s ciljem smanjenja stope recidiva i poboljšanja kvalitete života.
Abstract (english)
Introduction: Pulmonary embolism is a potentially life-threatening condition caused by obstruction of smaller or larger branches of the pulmonary artery by a thrombus that enters the pulmonary circulation through venous blood. The goal of this work is to describe pulmonary embolism and the care of a nurse as a member of a multidisciplinary team in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in patients with pulmonary embolism. Procedures: The following databases were used for searching through literature: Hrčak, Medline, PubMed, Scopus, Embasa. The most important criteria for literature inclusion in data analysis was the relevance of the source and the connection with the topic. Overview: Pulmonary embolism has a wide range of nonspecific presentation features that depend on the size of the embolus and obstructed circulation and on the patient's previous medical condition. The diagnosis of pulmonary embolism is based on a series of complementary diagnostic tests, and their combination depends on the outcome of the assessment clinical probability of pulmonary embolism. Conclucion: The nurse educates the patient with pulmonary embolism about the importance of taking therapy, avoiding risky behaviors, and changing lifestyle to prevent relapse and to improve quality of life.
