Abstract
Cilj je rada je prikaz procesa zdravstvene njege bolesnika nakon barijatrijskog kirurškog zahvata s osvrtom na pacijentove potrebe i probleme u sklopu zdravstvene njege u poslijeoperacijskom razdoblju. Uvodni dio je sačinjen od kratkog prikaza anatomije i fiziologije probavnog sustava te mogućnostima liječenja prekomjerne tjelesne mase. Definiran je indeks tjelesne mase te su navedene invazivne i neinvazivne metode liječenja pretilosti. Nadalje, u radu je opisan prikaz slučaja iz Zavoda za abdominalnu kirurgiju KBC-a Osijek. Opisan je slučaj pacijentice u ranim dvadesetim godinama s indeksom tjelesne mase 42,32 koja je na vlastiti zahtjev odlučila učiniti operaciju engl. gastric sleeve. Kroz rad je prikazana detaljna anamneza, tijek liječenja sa sestrinskim dijagnozama, ciljevima, intervencijama i evaluacijama. Naposljetku, napisano je otpusno pismo.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to present the process of health care for patients after bariatric surgery, highlighting patient needs and health care problems in the postoperative period. The introductory part consists of a brief overview of the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system, the possibility of treating obesity. The body mass index was defined, and invasive and noninvasive methods for the treatment of obesity were listed. A case report from the Department of Abdominal Surgery at Osijek University Hospital is also described. The case of a patient in her early twenties with a body mass index of 42.32 who decided to undergo gastric sleeve surgery at her own request is described. The paper presents a detailed history, course of treatment along with nursing diagnoses, goals, interventions, and evaluations. Finally, a discharge letter was written.
