Abstract
Cilj rada: Prikazati specifičnosti rada medicinske sestre kroz prikaz slučaja bolesnika s dijagnozom posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja, uz prikaz sestrinskih dijagnoza, intervencija i izrađenog plana zdravstvene njege. Opis slučaja: Bolesnik rođen 1969. godine, zaposlen, liječen hospitalno od 8. 11. do 12. 11. 2021. Otpušten na svoju inicijativu. Trenutno se nalazi u dnevnoj bolnici Klinike za psihijatriju Osijek s dijagnozom posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja. Utvrđeni problemi iz zdravstvene njege kod bolesnika vezani za razdoblje dnevne bolnice su: poremećaj spavanja, anksioznost i smanjena socijalna interakcija. Zaključak: Od iznimne je važnosti holistički pristupiti osobi, pružiti podršku i empatiju, dati priliku za razgovor. Pružanje sigurne okoline kako bi se bolesnik osjećao sigurno i ugodno je imperativ. Medicinske sestre sudjeluju u svim područjima zdravstvene njege oboljelog, od prevencije do rehabilitacije. Zato je potrebno imati specifična znanja i vještine. Edukacijom mase bismo skinuli stigmu s duševnih bolesti i pomogli oboljelima da pravovremeno i bez srama potraže pomoć.
Abstract (english)
Aim: To show the specifics of a nurse's work through a presentation of a case of a patient with a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder, along with a presentation of nursing diagnoses, interventions and a health care plan. Case description: The patient was born in 1969, employed, treated in hospital from 8th to 12th November 2021. Dismissed on his own initiative. He is currently in the day hospital of the Clinic for Psychiatry in Osijek with a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder. The established health care problems of the patient related to the day hospital period are: sleep disorder, anxiety and reduced social interaction. Conclusion: It is extremely important to approach the person holistically, to provide support and empathy, to give the opportunity to talk. Providing a safe environment to make the patient feel safe and comfortable is imperative. Nurses participate in all areas of patient care, from prevention to rehabilitation. That is why it is necessary to have specific knowledge and skills. By educating the masses, we would remove the stigma from mental illness and help patients to seek help in a timely manner and without shame.
