Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Cilj ovog istraživačkog rada je ispitati razinu znanja studenata diplomskog studija sestrinstva o akutnom moždanom udaru te utvrditi postoje li razlike u razini znanja s obzirom na spol, završeno srednjoškolsko obrazovanje, radno iskustvo, radno mjesto i iskustvo s oboljelima u bližoj okolini. Nacrt studije: Istraživanje je postavljeno kao presječna studija. Ispitanici i metode: U istraživanju je sudjelovao 51 student druge godine diplomskog sveučilišnog studija sestrinstva, a istraživanje je provedeno putem anonimnog anketnog upitnika koji se sastoji od 15 pitanja posebno osmišljenih za potrebe istraživanja. Rezultati: Rezultatima je utvrđeno da studenti diplomskog studija sestrinstva posjeduju znanje o akutnom moždanom udaru koje je na dobroj razini, s tim da su najvišu razinu znanja pokazali iz područja koje se odnosi na poznavanje rizičnih faktora, a najnižu razinu znanja na područje koje se odnosi na dijagnostičke metode za utvrđivanje moždanog udara. Kod studenata diplomskog studija sestrinstva nisu utvrđene statistički značajne razlike u razini znanja o moždanom udaru s obzirom na spol, završeno srednjoškolsko obrazovanje, radno iskustvo, radno mjesto i iskustvo s oboljelima u bližoj okolini. Zaključak: Studenti diplomskog studija sestrinstva pokazali su da posjeduju znanje o moždanom udaru koje je na dobroj razini, no tu razinu znanja bi trebalo unaprijediti s obzirom da se radi studentima diplomskog studija sestrinstva koji su u isto vrijeme i zaposleni, a određeni dio i radi s oboljelima.
Abstract (english)
Objectives: The aim of this research was to examine the level of knowledge of nursing graduate students about acute stroke, and to determine whether there are differences in the level of knowledge regarding to gender, completed high school education, work experience, workplace and experience with patients in the personal environment. Study Design: The research was designed as a cross-sectional study. Participants and Methods: 51 secend-year students of graduate university studies in nursing participated in the research, and the research was conducted trough an anonymus questionnaire consisting of 15 questions specially designed for research purposes. Results: The results showed that nursing graduate students have a good level of knowledge about acute stroke, with the highest level of knowledge being shown in the area related to knowledge of risk factors, and the lowest level of knowledge in the area related to diagnostic methods for determining stroke. No statistically significant differences were found in the level of knowledge about stroke among graduate nursing students regarding to gender, completed high school education, work experience, workplace and experience with patients in the immediate environment. Conclusion: Nursing graduate students showed that they have knowledge about stroke that is at a good level, but this level of knowledge should be improved considering that it is done for nursing graduate students who are at the same time employed, and a certain part of them works with patients.
