Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Ispitati razlike u čimbenicima stresa i intenzitetu izgaranja između medicinskih sestara koje rade s odraslim osobama i medicinskih sestara koje rade s djecom te razlike s obzirom na različite sociodemografske varijable. Nacrt studije: Presječno istraživanje. Ispitanici i metode: Ispitanici istraživanja bili su medicinske sestre i tehničari Kliničkog bolničkog centra Osijek zaposleni na Klinici za Kirurgiju, Klinici za unutarnje bolesti, Klinici za psihijatriju, Klinici za pedijatriju i Zavodu za dječju i adolescentnu psihijatriju. Istraživanje se provodilo od svibnja do lipnja 2024. godine. Istraživanje je provedeno anonimnim anketnim upitnikom. U istraživanju su se koristili sljedeći validirani upitnici: Stres na radnom mjestu bolničkih zdravstvenih djelatnika te Upitnik intenziteta sagorijevanja. Suglasnost za korištenje obaju upitnika dobivena je kontaktiranjem prvih autora obaju upitnika. Rezultati: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 156 ispitanika, većinom žena. Najveći broj ispitanika imao je srednju stručnu spremu, a medijan radnog staža iznosio je 18 godina. Ispitanici su najviše stresno doživjeli čimbenike organizacije i financija, a najmanje stresno opasnosti i štetnosti na poslu. Kod ispitanika koji rade s odraslima zabilježeno je ozbiljno sagorijevanje, dok su kod ispitanika koji rade s djecom zabilježeni posebni znaci upozorenja sagorijevanja. Rezultati nisu pokazali značajnu razliku u doživljaju stresa s obzirom na rad ispitanika s djecom ili odraslim osobama. Zaključak: Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su da je kod ispitanika koji rade s odraslim osobama prisutno ozbiljno sagorijevanje. Nije zabilježena značajnija razlika u doživljaju stresa između ispitanika koji rade s djecom i ispitanika koji rade s odraslim osobama.
Abstract (english)
Objectives: To examine the differences in stress factors and the intensity of burnout between nurses who work with adults and nurses who work with children and to examine the differences with regard to various sociodemographic variables. Study design: A cross-sectional study. Participants and Methods: The subjects of the research were nurses of the Osijek Clinical Hospital Center employed at the Surgery Clinic, the Internal Medicine Clinic, the Psychiatry Clinic, the Pediatric Clinic and the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The research was conducted from May to June 2024. The research was conducted using an anonymous questionnaire. The following validated questionnaires were used in the research: Stress at the workplace of hospital healthcare workers and the Burnout intensity questionnaire. Consent for the use of both questionnaires was obtained from the first authors of both questionnaires. Results: 156 respondents, most of them women, took part in the research. The largest number of respondents had a high school diploma and the median length of service was 18 years. The most stressful factors for the respondents were organization and finances, whereas the least stressful factors were dangers at work. Severe burnout was recorded in subjects who work with adults, while special warning signs of burnout were recorded in subjects who work with children. The results showed no significant difference in the experience of stress with regarding the respondents' work with children or adults. Conclusion: The obtained results showed that subjects who work with adults have serious burnout. No significant difference was recorded in the experience of stress between respondents who work with children and respondents who work with adults.
