Abstract
Cilj je ovog završnog rada prikazati slučaj bolesnika s pneumotoraksom, najčešće probleme iz područja zdravstvene njege, kao i specifičnosti rada i zadaće medicinske sestre/tehničara u sestrinskoj skrbi za takvog bolesnika. Prikazani su utvrđeni problemi iz područja sestrinske skrbi kod bolesnika s pneumotoraksom, postavljene su sestrinske dijagnoze, ciljevi i provedene intervencije usmjerene ka rješavanju bolesnikovih problema. Utvrđeni problemi iz područja zdravstvene njege jesu smanjena mogućnost odijevanja, smanjena mogućnost obavljanja osobne higijene, isprekidan san, bol, zabrinutost, visok rizik za infekciju. Zdravstvena njega mora biti utemeljena na stručnim znanjima i vještinama medicinske sestre, kao i na individualiziranom, holističkom pristupu usmjerenom prema bolesniku. Naglasak se na kraju rada stavlja na važnost provođenja edukacije bolesnika i obitelji, dobru komunikaciju medicinske sestre i bolesnika, ulogu medicinske sestre u pružanju emocionalne podrške bolesniku, zadaći medicinske sestre u liječenju pneumotoraksa kao ravnopravnog člana zdravstvenog tima. Također, ukazuje se na veliki značaj cjeloživotnog učenja i usavršavanja znanja i vještina medicinske sestre/tehničara koji skrbe za bolesnika s pneumotoraksom.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to present the case of a patient with pneumothorax, the most common problems in the field of health care, as well as the specifics of the work and tasks of the nurse/technician in caring for patients with pneumothorax. The identified problems in the field of nursing care in patients with pneumothorax are presented and nursing diagnoses, goals and interventions aimed at solving the patient’s problems were set. The identified problems in the field of health care include reduced ability to dress and reduced ability to perform personal hygiene, intermittent sleep, pain, anxiety, and the risk of infection. Nursing care must be based on the professional knowledge and skills of the nurse, as well as on an individualized, holistic approach directed towards the patient. Finally, the paper emphasizes the importance of educating patients and families, good communication between nurses and patients, and the role of nurses in providing emotional support to patients. The tasks of nurses in the treatment of pneumothorax are equal as other members of the health-care team. Also, the paper emphasizes great importance of lifelong learning and improving the knowledge and skills of nurses/technicians in caring for patients with pneumothorax.
