Abstract | Cilj istraživanja: Ispitati motiviranost osoba novogradiškoga kraja za cijepljenje protiv
COVID-19 bolesti s obzirom na dob, spol, bračno stanje, mjesto stanovanja, razinu
obrazovanja, radni status, prema informiranost o cijepljenju protiv COVID-19 bolesti, na
dostupnost cjepiva protiv COVID-19 bolesti, na strah od smrti ili teških posljedica COVID-19
bolesti, na razloge zbog kojih su se osobe cijepile protiv COVID-19 bolesti.
Nacrt studije: Istraživanje je ustrojeno kao presječna studija.
Ispitanici i metode: U istraživanje je bilo uključeno 126 bolesnika oba spola koji su zadovoljili
kriterije za uključivanje: stariji od 18 godina, cijepljeni protiv COVID-19 bolesti s potpisanim
informiranim pristankom. Sve osobe koje će sudjelovali u istraživanju pismeno i usmeno su
informirane o svrsi i cilju istraživanja te će sudjelovanje u istraživanju biti dobrovoljno,
anonimno i povjerljivo. U procjeni motiviranosti osoba novogradiškoga kraja za cijepljenje
protiv COVID-19 bolesti korišten je anketni upitnik koji sadržava podatke o dobi, spolu,
bračnom statusu, razini obrazovanja te pitanja o motiviranosti osoba novogradiškoga kraja za
cijepljenje protiv COVID-19 bolesti konstruiran za potrebe ovoga istraživanja.
Rezultati: Značajno veću motiviranost za cijepljenje imaju ispitanici u dobi od 56 godina i
stariji, ispitanici koji su u braku te ispitanici u mirovini i kućanice. Značajno su više motivirani
ispitanici koji su se informirali usmeno od liječnika ili medicinskih sestara/ tehničara. Značajno
su više motivirani ispitanici koji se ne boje posljedica cijepljenja. Više su motivirani ispitanici
koji su se cijepili zbog zaštite svoga zdravlja i zdravlja svoje obitelji.
Zaključak: Spol, mjesto stanovanja i obrazovanje nisu povezani s motiviranosti osoba za
cijepljenje protiv COVID-19 bolesti. |
Abstract (english) | Aim of the research: To test the motivation of people from Nova Gradiška district for COVID-
19 vaccination given their age, gender, marital status, place of residence, level of education,
work status, and to test their motivation given their awareness of vaccination against COVID-
19, the availability of the vaccines against COVID-19, the fear of death or severe consequences
of COVID-19 disease, and to learn about the reasons why they have received the COVID-19
vaccine.
Study outline: The research has been organised as a cross sectional study.
Examinees and methods: 126 patients of both gender, who met the requirements to participate
in the study, have participated in the research: participants older than 18 years of age,
vaccinated against COVID-19 with the signed informed consent. All persons involved in the
research have been informed of the purpose and aim of this research both in writing and orally,
and the participation in this research was voluntary, anonymous and confidential. To assess the
motivation of people from Nova Gradiška district for COVID-19 vaccination, a questionnaire
containing age, gender, marital status, level of education and questions concerning the
motivation of people from Nova Gradiška district for COVID-19 vaccination, was created and
used for this research.
Results: A significantly higher motivation for vaccination was noticed among the examinees
aged 56 and older, among married examinees and among retired examinees and housewives.
Examinees who had informed themselves orally with their doctors or nurses were more
motivated for vaccination. Examinees who weren't afraid of the COVID-19 vaccination sideeffects
were also more motivated. Examinees who vaccinated themselves for their own health
and the health of their families were also more motivated.
Conclusion: Gender, place of residence and level of education do not influence the motivation
of people for COVID-19 vaccination. |
