| Abstract | CILJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Ispitati sociodemografske karakteristike liječenih ovisnika o alkoholu
kod bolesnika liječenih prema odluci suda i bolesnika liječenih „bez prisile“.
NACRT STUDIJE: Retrospektivno istraživanje.
ISPITANICI I METODE: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 120 ispitanika s dijagnozom ovisnosti
o alkoholu, liječenih kroz programe Dnevne bolnice alkoholizma i stacionara u KBC-u „Sestre
milosrdnice“ na Klinici za psihijatriju. Eksperimentalnu skupinu činilo je 60 bolesnika liječenih
prema odluci suda, dok je u kontrolnoj skupini jednak broj ispitanika, njih 60 koji su bolesnici
liječeni „bez prisile“, tj. dobrovoljno. Od ukupnog broja ispitanika, 96 ih je bilo muškog spola
i 24 ženskog. Podaci potrebni za ovo istraživanje prikupljeni su iz arhivirane medicinske
dokumentacije, tj. povijesti bolesti bolesnika, bez spominjanja njihovih imena, a obuhvaćene
su sljedeće varijable: spol, dob, bračni status, broj djece, radni status, stupanj obrazovanja,
sredina u kojoj žive i broj hospitalizacija.
REZULTATI: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 120 ispitanika s dijagnozom ovisnosti o alkoholu
liječenih prema odluci suda i onih liječenih „bez prisile“. Većina ispitanika bila je muškog spola
(96; 80 %), najviše u dobi 41 – 50 godina (35; 29,2 %), sa završenom srednjom stručnom
spremom (81; 67,5 %), u braku (81; 67,5 %), s 1 – 2 djece (65; 55 %), zaposleno (73; 68 %) i
iz ruralnog područja (78; 65 %).
ZAKLJUČAK: Analizom rezultata nije utvrđena statistički značajna razlika sociodemografskih
karakteristika kod bolesnika liječenih odlukom suda i bolesnika liječenih „bez prisile“. |
| Abstract (english) | OBJECTIVE: To examine the sociodemographic characteristics of treated alcohol addicts in
patients with court-order treatment and in patients treated voluntarily (without coercion).
STUDY DESIGN: Retrospective research.
SUBJECTS AND METHODS: The study involved 120 respondents diagnosed with alcohol
addiction, treated through the programs of the Daily Hospital of Alcoholism and stationaries at
the University Hospital Center "Sestre milosrdnice" at the Clinic for Psychiatry. The
experimental group consisted of 60 patients with court-order treatment, while the control group
consisted of 60 patients treated voluntarily (without coercion). Out of the total number of
respondents, 96 were male and 24 were female. The data required for this study were collected
from archived medical records – the medical history of patients, without mentioning their
names, while the following variables were included: gender, age, marital status, number of
children, employment status, level of education, environment in which they live and the number
of hospitalizations.
RESULTS: The study included 120 respondents diagnosed with alcohol addiction treated either
by court-order or voluntarily (without coercion). Most of the respondents were male (96; 80%),
aged 41-50 (35; 29.2%) with a secondary degree (81; 67.5%), married (81; 67.5%) with 1-2
children (65; 55%), employed (73; 68%) and coming from a rural area (78; 65%).
CONCLUSION: The analysis of the results did not show a statistically significant difference in
sociodemographic characteristics in patients with court-order treatment and patients treated
voluntarily. |
