Abstract
Cilj: Cilj istraživanja je ispitati sposobnost uočavanja i razumijevanja emocija, ispitat sposobnost njihova izražavanja i imenovanja te sposobnost regulacije i upravljanja emocijama kod medicinskih sestara/ tehničara. Ustroj studije: Presječna studija. Ispitanici i metode: U ovome istraživanju sudjelovalo je 63 medicinskih sestara/ tehničara Klinike za unutarnje bolesti KBC-a Zagreb. Istraživanje je provedeno putem validiranog upitnika Emocionalne kompetentnosti UEK-45. Upitnik se sastoji od 2 dijela, prvi dio se odnosi na demografska obilježja ispitanika s obzirom na dob, spol, stručnu spremu. Drugi dio upitnika sastoji se od 45 tvrdnji koje se mjere na Likertovoj skali od 1 do 5. Rezultati: Ovo istraživanje pokazalo je kako su rezultati sve 3 skupine tvrdnji visoko pozitivno povezane te da dob i stručna sprema ispitanika ne utječu na razinu njihove emocionalne inteligencije. Zaključak: Rezultati pokazuju kako nema značajne razlike u uočavanju, razumijevanju, izražavanju, imenovanju, upravljanju i regulaciji emocija prema demografskim varijablama. Svaki pojedinac treba raditi na razvoju vlastite emocionalne inteligencije.
Abstract (english)
Objective: The objective of the research is to examine the ability to perceive and understand emotions, to examine the ability to express and name them, and the ability to regulate and manage emotions in nurses/technicians. Study design: Cross-sectional study. Respondents and methods: 63 nurses/technicians of the Clinic for Internal Diseases of KBC Zagreb participated in this research. The research was conducted using the validated Emotional Competence UEK-45 questionnaire by Vladimir Takšić. The questionnaire consists of 2 parts, the first part refers to the demographic characteristics of the respondents; age, gender, professional qualification. The second part of the questionnaire consists of 45 statements that are measured on a Likert scale from 1 to 5. Results: This research showed that the results of all 3 groups of statements are highly positively correlated and that the age and professional education of the respondents do not affect the level of their emotional intelligence. Conclusion: The results show that there is no significant difference in the perception, understanding, expression, naming, management and regulation of emotions according to demographic variables. Each individual should work on developing their own emotional intelligence.
