Abstract
CILJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Ispitati stavove studenata sestrinstva o srčanom zatajenju i s njime povezanim čimbenicima rizika. NACRT STUDIJE: Presječno istraživanje. ISPITANICI I METODE: U istraživanju su sudjelovali studenti diplomskog studija sestrinstva Fakulteta za dentalnu medicinu i zdravstvo Osijek dislociranog studija u Svetoj Nedelji. Istraživanje je provedemo putem Google obrasca Upitnikom o srčanim bolestima (engl. Heart Disease Fact Questionnaire - HDFQ). REZULTATI: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 93 ispitanika od čega 87 % žena i 13 % muškaraca dobi 22 do 51 godine. Postoji statistički značajna razlika u odgovorima na tvrdnju da osoba uvijek zna kada ima srčanu bolest obzirom na spol (P=0,001). Samo je 8 % muškaraca točno odgovorilo na pitanje, dok je žena 60 %. Statistički značajna razlika pronađena je u odgovorima na tvrdnju da je pušenje čimbenik rizika za srčane bolesti obzirom na spol (P=0,04), 75 % muškaraca točno odgovorilo na pitanje, žena je točno odgovorilo 93 %. Pronađena je i statistički značajna razlika u odgovorima na tvrdnju da je visoki kolesterol čimbenik rizika za razvoj bolesti srca obzirom na spol (P=0,04) budući da je 67 % muškaraca točno odgovorilo na pitanje, dok je 90 % žena točno odgovorilo. Samo je 17 % muškaraca točno odgovorilo na pitanje o šećernoj bolesti kao čimbeniku rizika, žena je točno odgovorilo 53 %. ZAKLJUČAK: Distribucija ukupnih bodova ankete pokazuje da su ispitanici većinom postigli prosječne rezultate; najveći dio ispitanika (74 %) ima prosječne rezultate (15-22), dok je vrlo mali broj ispitanika (2 %) postigao najmanje bodova (0-9).
Abstract (english)
THE RESEARCH AIM: To determine the nursig students` knowledge about heart failure and its associated risk factors. STUDY DRAFT: Cross-sectional study. SUBJECTS AND METHODS: The research participans were graduate students od nursting at the Faculty od Dental Medicine and Health Osijek, dislocated department od Sveta Nedelja. The research has been conducted using the Google form of the Heart Disease Fact Questionnare (HDFQ). RESULTS: Total of 93 respondents participated in the research, 87% being women and 13% men aged 22 to 51. With regard to gender, there is a statistically significant difference in responses to the statement that a person is always aware when he or she has a heart disease (P=0.001). The question was answered correctly by only 8% of men and 60% of women. A statistically significant difference was found in the answers to the statement that smoking is a risk factor for heart disease with regard to gender (P=0.04), 75% of men and 93% of women answered the question correctly. A statistically significant difference was found in the answers to the statement that high cholesterol is a risk factor for the development of heart disease with respect to gender (P=0.04), since 67% of men and 90% of women answered the question correctly. The question about diabetes as a risk factor was answered correctly by only 17% of men and 53% of women. CONCLUSION: The distribution of the total points of the survey shows that the respondents have mostly achieved average results; the majority of respondents (74 %) have average scores (15-22), while a very small number of respondents (2 %) achieved the lowest scores (0-9).
